My professional life and most of my personal life has been dedicated to learning how technology can be leveraged to positively impact instruction as well as everyday life. As an educator for over 22 years, I have worked in a variety of roles from 2nd grade teacher to adjunct professor. I currently serve as the Director of Instructional Technology for Taylor Independent School District in Taylor, Texas. I coordinate and support all instructional technology in the district including major initiatives dealing with iPads, Chromebooks, Macbooks, Eduphoria, Google Apps for Education, Edlio and textbook online resources. My duties also include serving as the district Webmaster.
As the CEO of Hale EdTech Consulting, I help other districts and individuals with a variety of educational technology needs. In particular, I am well-equipped to support G Suite for Education, Eduphoria, CrisisG and Edlio but also provide support for many other programs.
I am a father of 5 kids, Samantha (19), Tabitha (17), Kaleigh (15), Kalan (9), and Lily (8) and a husband to a wonderful wife named Jenny. In my free time, I enjoy taking hikes with my family, fishing, woodworking and playing racquetball.
Empower others to perform at their best with passion, integrity and excellence.
Instructional Technology will be an innovative and transformational vehicle that drives high quality communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
